What the service does

Mentioned sends buyer-style questions ("prompts") about your category to AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, records their answers, and reports whether your brand is mentioned, which competitors are named, and which websites are cited.

Reports are shared by link. Anyone with a report link can view that report.

AI answers vary; no guaranteed results

AI assistants are non-deterministic and change often. The same prompt can produce a different answer minutes later. Reports are a snapshot of the answers we received at the time, not a measurement of how every user will see your brand.

Mentioned does not control any AI engine and does not guarantee any score, ranking, mention or business result. Recommendations in reports are suggestions, not promises.

Payments and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Paddle handles payments, billing, VAT and other sales taxes, and invoices for every purchase. Your payment details are given to Paddle, not to us. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically each month until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing page in your dashboard ("Manage subscription"), which opens the Paddle billing portal, or by emailing us.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access to the paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• We may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you by email before a change applies to you.

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

Your account

Keep your password secret; you are responsible for activity on your account. Give us an email address you can receive mail at, because we use it for reports, billing notices and account security.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• abuse the free check, for example by using many email addresses, scripts or automated submissions to get around its limits;
• use the service to send prompts that are unlawful, hateful or designed to make AI engines produce harmful content;
• attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure;
• resell or redistribute the service, or reports about brands you do not represent, in a way that misleads others.

We may limit, suspend or close accounts and checks that break these rules.

Your content and our service

You keep the rights to the brand names, prompts and other information you submit. You give us permission to use them to run the service for you, including sending prompts to AI engines.

AI-generated answers are produced by third-party engines and are shown as received. Mentioned's software, design and reports' structure remain ours.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Third-party AI engines may be slow, change, or be unavailable. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue a paid plan, we will give notice and stop billing for it.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, or for decisions you make based on a report.

Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [TODO: governing law and jurisdiction].

Changes to these terms and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; for material changes we will tell account holders by email before they apply.
